PUBLIC AFFAIRS DIRECTOR
Kylie joined Sound View Strategies in 2013 after a decade of work in Seattle-area government, politics, and business.
As a senior aide to Sen. Maria Cantwell, Ms. Rolf served as King County Director, leading organizational and constituency outreach, intergovernmental relations, local issues management, and public affairs for Washington’s junior U.S. Senator.
As a member of Mayor Greg Nickels’ executive office staff, Kylie conducted outreach to major organizations and constituency groups, planned media events, acted as liaison between the mayor’s office and city executive branch departments, and compiled and edited the mayor’s daily briefing book.
She served as the King county field organizer for the Yes on 1098 ballot initiative campaign, directing small business outreach, volunteer programs, and direct voter contact.
Her other advocacy and political work includes short-term projects and consulting work for The Road Map Project, SEIU and in local political candidate fundraising.
Prior to entering government and advocacy work, Rolf worked in banking as a corporate trainer and raised private equity investments for a real estate development firm. Kylie holds a B.A. from Western Washington University and lives with her husband in Seattle.
